Brussels – The Ultimate Pit Stop for the Museum lovers!

Who will ever figure out that a small village in six hundred years ago is transforming into one of the megalopolis in the Europe region? Brussels, the capital of Belgium, is the headquarters of NATO and the political center of the European Union.
Furthermore, it’s also the hometown for many interesting museum, such as the grand new opening “Magritte Museum” in June 2009. It claimed has more than 250 paintings, which is 100 percent masterpieces from the surrealist, Rene Magritte.
The Ancient Art Museum, featuring Flemish and Belgian art, has a fantastic collection of masterpiece, such as Van der Weyden, Breughel, Bosch and Rubens. Don’t forget to step into the Museum of Modern Art, as it’s located next to the Ancient Art Museum!
By the way, you must pay the trip visiting the local famous mascot, Manneken-Pis, which is a fountain statue of a little boy who lives up to his name.
