Is It Possible – A Trip to The Moon For Civilians?
July 20th 2009 11:06
Human race has carved a history, when Neil Armstrong stepped his feet on the Moon on July 20, 1969.
WoW, time flies by and it’s already the 40th anniversary, since the Apollo 11 Moon Landing mission.
Many people always wondered, “Is it possible for ordinary people like us to have a trip to the Moon?” The final answer for your question is, “Yep, you can have a trip to the Moon, if only you’re affording the fee, which is up to US$100 million!”
I’m not joking here, as it’s the price offered by Space Adventures, which is based in Arlington, Virginia.
According to the company, the trip to the Moon is a 21 days trip, which is allowing two space tourists and their pilot to cram in a passenger car-size Soyuz space module.
So, for those who are willing to pay the US$100 million, then you might pack it up, take off with the rocket and have a nice “Moon trip” with your loved one!
