August 16th 2009 08:35
There are over thousand of great and beautiful cities in the United States. Each of the cities has its uniqueness and interesting places that waiting for the tourists to explore it.

Today, our main topic will be the fantastic city, Chicago, the largest city of the state of Illinois. With over 2.8 million inhabitants, it’s the third largest city in the Unites States as well!
Based on the history, Chicago was inhabited by native American tribe, which is known as the Potawatomis. The town of Chicago was founded by Jean Baptiste Pointe du Sable in 1795 and only has about 200 inhabitants on August 12, 1883!

The name “Chicago” is derived from the French word, meaning “wild onion”. Beside that, Chicago also has other nicknames, such as “Windy City”, “Second City”, “Chitown”, “Chicagoland” and much more.

Chicago is recognized as one of the three main business centers in the United States. It has been rated as having the most balanced economy in the United States. As the country and world major financial center, Chicago is also the home of the Chicago Stock Exchange, the Chicago Board Option Exchange and Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

In addition, Chicago is the homeland of skyscrapers, which the famous Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower) is one of the remarkable landmarks of Chicago.
If you’re an artistic person, then Chicago will be the perfect city to visit. Go figure, there are over hundred of museums and monuments scattering all over the Chicago. Some of the famous monuments are Abraham Lincoln, The Heald Square Monument, Christopher Columbus and others interesting public arts.

Honestly, Chicago is one of the best places to spend our vacation or honeymoon, as it equips with numerous entertainment and restaurants. Maybe, we can book a Chicago Limousine service and traveling the city and enjoys the beautiful Chicago’s night view.

Honestly, it’s totally a pleasure to have a ride with Chicago Limo and visiting the high class places, such as the Grant Park Music Festival and Civic Opera House. It makes us feel that we’re king/queen for one day!

Lastly, for those who decide to have a trip to Chicago, don’t forget to buy some souvenir for me (Just kidding! Lol).
