Here’s a real story from Kenneth Miller, a loyal customer of Delta Airlines, which has accumulated over 100,000 flier miles. He’s supposed to have many points in his account with no expiration date. Unfortunately, Delta Airlines had recently changed their rules, as they’d deleted Mr. Miller’s points without any early notification! He’s very disappointed with Delta Airlines, but he didn’t suggest to do anything with it yet.
